| The climb to Redango di Sopra / Oberradein
seems to be rather unknown. The first 12 km, from Moline di Fiemme
to Nuova Redango is easy. The main road from Cavalese (SS48) climbs gently
to San Lugano; a point that is also known as Passo di San Lugano. After
a short descent you reach Nuova Redango. Turn right and the rewarding
part starts. After Redango di Sotto the good quality and quiet road
climbs with 10% on average to Redango di Sopra. The (almost) highest
point, dominated by an elegant church, offers impressive views. For mountain bikers there is a possibility to descent to Redango di Sopra from Passo di Oclini. The map below shows an impression of the track and its profile. They are based on data generated by Bike Route Toaster. The connection is not surveyed by us. We returned to Molina by a partly different route. Shortly after San Lugano we left the SS48 for Anterivo / Altrei. After leaving Anterivo a small road winds down to the SP612, an exciting descent. The SP612 road follows, at some distance, the Lago di Stramentizzo and passes Molina di Fiemme. Anterivo is situated in the Parco Naturale Monte Corno, a countryside of great natural beauty. |
